Cash Crusaders – New Service Centre and Offices

After successfully completing the construction of the Cash Crusaders Head Office and Warehouse in Capricorn Park in 2005, we were delighted to be invited to tender on the New Service Centre and Offices, part of the Cash Crusaders’ expansion and modernization program, 15 years later.

The contract was concluded in mid-November 2020 and with construction commencing mid-January 2021, final completion of the facility was achieved at the end of August 2021.

The building is designed as a concrete framed structure and comprising ground floor Service Centre and first floor offices, canteen and meeting rooms including a waterproofed concrete roof slab on which the AC Plant and PV Panels were placed.

A feature of the building is the exposed off shutter concrete finish, which posed a challenge as construction and casting joints of concrete walls needed to be planned and approved before any concrete was cast.

Furthermore, we found a solution to a waterproofing challenge between the different building material interfaces.
